LiCON is a globally active manufacturer of one-, twin- and four-spindle CNC machining centers for the mechanical series machining of complex workpieces. As a technology leader, we develop and produce highly efficient system solutions from single machines to fully automated production lines at our headquarters in Laupheim near Ulm.

The Foundation Stone Is Laid.
In the 1930s, Georg Lindenmaier set the origin of the company of the same name with a focus on the production of metallic serial parts.
The Manufacturing of Machine Tools Begins.
In the 1960s, the manufacture of machine tools was added as a second mainstay. Due to the early death of the two sons Erich and Rudolf Karl, the company passed directly to Walter Lindenmaier.
Machine Tools Gain in Relevance.
Until 1995, both business areas were united in Lindenmaier AG. In the same year, the production of machine tools was sold by Lindenmaier AG and since then operated under the name of Lindenmaier Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG.

The product range is growing continuously.
Since July 1, 2004, the company has been operating under the name Licon mt GmbH & Co. KG. In the course of the years, the product range has been considerably expanded.
A New Company Headquarters Is Built.
In 2008 the company moved to the new building: Im Rißtal 1 in 88471 Laupheim.
