Oversized precision: LiCON presents GigaLine for large and complex components at EUROGUSS

LiCON, one of the world's leading players in the manufacturing industry, is once again setting new standards with pioneering technologies and state-of-the-art solutions. The latest upgrade of the LiFLEX machining centers is characterized by short tool change times and minimal non-productive times.

With outstanding dynamics, the LiCON machining centers guarantee precise machining even for highly complex components. The high accuracy, stability and repeatability are decisive for the quality of the end products. The i³ technology developed by LiCON enables independent correction of both spindles in all three axes (X, Y and Z) on the twin-spindle machine. This makes double-spindle production as precise as that of a single-spindle machine. Spacious work areas allow complete machining in just one clamping operation.

The LiCON GigaLine is specially designed for machining large and complex components such as battery frames, RUB (rear underbody) and FUB (front underbody). This is becoming increasingly important due to electromobility. In addition, the integrated pallet changer offers an automated solution to increase production efficiency. The I+I option enables different types of machining simultaneously with two spindles on one component, even using a swivel spindle.
