Haldex: 12 LiCON machines, one mission – innovation in brake system production!
After the first ten LiCON machines of the major order from Haldex, two more LiCON machining centers were installed in the production hall in Landskrona (Sweden) at the beginning of the year. Halex uses them to produce brake systems for heavy vehicles of well-known manufacturers.
One of the new machines is the LiCON double-spindle LiFLEX 766 i³ DL B2, which maximizes the productivity in the production process. LiCON's innovative i3 technology enables the two spindles to operate independently of each other in the X, Y and Z axes. This advanced functionality contributes significantly to fast, reliable and high-precision machining of various workpieces. (link i³)
"The entire process from delivery to the first metal chips in under five days was remarkably efficient!" emphasizes Björn Kihlberg, Haldex project manager, “This is a further proof of the performance of man and machine.”
The close partnership between Haldex and LiCON has existed for over 30 years at the Landskrona site. "We are grateful for the renewed trust that Haldex has placed in us and look forward to continuing our successful cooperation," emphasizes LiCON Project Manager Jochen Hummel, "A big thank you to the entire Haldex and LiCON team for their tireless dedication and hard work that made this success possible!"
